Work of an artist? But of course! Core makeup artist and hairstylist Maria Tseva has been working professionally since 1995 and have added great style and makeup to people in several TV productions, movies in cinema, video clips, commercials and fashion shoots in both Greece and Sweden.

Recently she worked for the Kanal 5 television show "Vem kan slå Filip och Fredrik" but her television clients include many, many more well known shows such as Expedition Robinson, What Women Want and Floor Filler.

Finish Core photographer Joakim Hansson - our photographer in focus for May always has something going on, and recently he did an arty exhibition in Gävle of Sweden, which attracted many locals to come and see his work.

Joakim claims to be very happy with the turnout, and he should be! Just the fact that two Swedish newspapers, Arbetarbladet and GD.se did an article about him and his exhibition we would say is great results!

Dekadance party - fetish weekend

Heard about Dekadance? If not, you might want to check this "queer cultural association" out! Dekadance is a club for "people into fetischism, 'kinky sex', exhibitionism and creativity, who like to let all repressions loose, party and dance to electro music".

Among other things, they arrange performance club nights and art shows and membership is totally free. We digg it!

And - we think that their 5 year anniversary party (part of "Fetish Weekend") is gonna be one well worth attending! This Dekadance allnighter (9.00 PM - 05.00 AM) is held at Allhuset, Stockholm University on May 16 th and the Dekadancers themselves say "Expect true extravagance with performances, fashion show and the most beautiful fetish people in Europe. This will be the most fantastic party in the history of kinky Sweden".

As summer is closing in on us (thank god!) so is the load of festivals, events and other cool happenings. We're going to do our best to remind you of when to be where and why, starting off today with a tip for next Friday, May 15th.

If you're in London, or perhaps need an good excuse to fly yourself over there, be sure to check out Torture Garden who are throwing themself a birthday party that day. Torture Garden is the worlds largest Fetish/Body Art Club and their events usually attract 800 - 2600 people (or more...) to various London venues every month.

What is it?
Le chic Burlesque Theater is an unique theater style show set in a classic burlesque environment downtown Stockholm. Inspired by huge successes in America and the UK, theCore has teamed up with Chic Elle Boutique to create a sensational evening that delivers a classic vaudeville experience for all of our guests.

Who's in it?
The show brings you fantastic Lingerie Fashion and performances by Core models Tara Mi Sioux (US), Calamity Amelie, Tifa DeLeone, Tea & Ellem De Choix.

When, where and how?

Spring is in the air and this alone is reason to celebrate! If you’re looking for something unforgettable, you might want to check out Kulturnatta. This is an large, annual cultural event held in Umeå in northern Sweden. During 24 hours, more than 100 organizers get together, arranging over 300 cultural happenings in the city with surroundings. The event has been around for five years now, and this year it's taking place on May 23rd. You can read all about it on kulturnatta.com.

Need good reasons why to go? Well, Core photographer Nik Carlsson is as always involved in the event and this year model Sister Sinister (who last year did a catwalk show for Naucler Design), will join the festival again. So,who'll pay them a visit?!
